Gerhard is a qualified chartered accountant with valuable experience in small and medium sized entrepreneurial businesses. He is a dynamic individual who brings a healthy balance of youth and enthusiasm to an otherwise experienced team.
BRIEF HISTORY: Gerhard completed his traineeship at MGI Bass Gordon where he was consistently rated as one of the top trainees. He was subsequently recruited by Johan du Preez in January 2010 as a private equity and turnaround executive within the SAAD Investment Holdings group. He was involved in transaction origination, due diligence audits, turnarounds and also tasked with the creation of a private equity and turnaround fund. Through Gerhard’s dealings with Acorn and Johan du Preez, he joined the Acorn team in June 2010 as an analyst.
